Rig Count: HZ Rigs Added, Permian Continues Downward Trend

According to Baker Hughes' November 13, 2015 rig count report, rigs counts have dropped by -4 overall across the domestic market, while Canada lost -9 rigs and the International market -29.
2 horizontal and 3 vertical rigs were added this week. The Eagle Ford and Barnett gained 1 rig, while the Permian lost -3 rigs.
The total year-over-year (YOY) rig count drop is now at 1,161.
The current active rig count in the U.S. is 767.
