Rig Count: Permian Continues Dropping, Loses 4 Rigs

According to Baker Hughes' December 4, 2015 rig count report, rig counts have dropped by -7 overall across the domestic market, while Canada lost -7 rigs and the International market -29.
Overall, 0 horizontal and -5 vertical rigs were taken down this week. The Permian continues dropping, losing -4 rigs.
The total year-over-year (YOY) rig count drop is now at 1,183.
The current active rig count in the U.S. is 737.
