Rig Count: Permian Loses 13 Rigs, Down to 204

According to Baker Hughes' December 11, 2015 rig count report, rig counts have dropped by -28 overall across the domestic market, while Canada lost -3 rigs and the International market -2.
Overall, -15 horizontal and -13 vertical rigs were taken down this week. The Permian lost -13 rigs this week.
The total year-over-year (YOY) rig count drop is now at 1,184.
The current active rig count in the U.S. is 709.

Canada's rig count decreased by -3. The country's rig count has fallen by 257 rigs YOY with 174 rigs currently active.
