Rig Count: Permian and Arkoma Rebound, Eagle Ford and Cana Drop

According to Baker Hughes' November 6, 2015 rig count report, rigs counts have dropped by -4 overall across the domestic market, while Canada lost -6 rigs and the International market -29.
8 horizontal rigs were added this week, and 7 vertical rigs were laid down. The Permian gained 3 rigs and the Arkoma Basin added 2 rigs this week, while the Eagle Ford and Cana-Woodford lost rigs this week, at -3 and -4, respectively.
The total year-over-year (YOY) rig count drop is now at 1,154.
The current active rig count in the U.S. is 775.
