Rig Count: U.S. Adds 19 Rigs This Week; Canada Gains Eight

According to Baker Hughes' July 24, 2015 rig count report, the U.S. and Canada continued to see rig count growth this week.
The U.S. rig count jumped by 19 this week which brings the total year-over-year (YOY) rig count drop to 1,007. The current active rig count in the U.S. is 876.
After adding 23 rigs last week, Canada has maintained its increase in rigs, adding eight this week. The country's rig count has fallen by 195 rigs YOY with 200 rigs currently active.
On the International front, rig counts fell by 12 in June of this year.
