Rosetta Prices Permian-Focused $700MM Offering

Rosetta Resources Inc. has reported the pricing of its public offering of $700 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.625% Senior Notes due 2021.
The notes were priced at par. The sale of the notes is expected to settle on May 2, 2013, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
The Company intends to use all of the net proceeds from the proposed notes offering to fund a portion of the consideration for its previously announced acquisition of oil and natural gas assets in the Permian Basin from Comstock Resources Inc. If the Acquisition is not consummated by July 15, 2013, or if the purchase and sale agreement is terminated at any time prior to the consummation of the Acquisition, the Company will be required to redeem all of the notes in cash at a redemption price…
