Samson Resources Cuts Well Costs at Bakken, Cotton Valley Projects

Between early 2012 and year-end 2013, Samson Resources Company has seen a sizable decrease in well costs across the board. Moreover while costs are dropping, liquids production continues to climb, giving Samson a strong foundation for 2014 operations.
The reduced well costs were the most noticeable at the company's Bakken Ambrose and Cotton Valley Carthage projects.
Bakken Shale - Ambrose ProjectWell costs at Samson's Bakken Ambrose project have declined 8% since 2012 to $6.1 million. The company utilizes multi-well pads, drilling three to six wells per pad.
