Savanna Energy Appoints New Board Member

Savanna Energy has announced the appointment of Stella Cosby to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Cosby is a Senior Human Resources executive with expertise in working with global growth companies in areas such as business effectiveness, succession planning, talent development and retention, executive compensation and governance. Ms. Cosby has experience working in agriculture, financial services, manufacturing, chemical, pipeline, transportation and retail industries. Ms. Cosby is the Vice President of People for Cervus Equipment where she is responsible for human resources and safety. Prior to joining Cervus, Ms. Cosby was a Senior Director with Agrium Inc. where she led a diverse multi-disciplinary team responsible for executive and broad-based compensation, pension, benefits, global mobility and payroll. She was a founding member and Chair of Agrium's Women's Leadership Group, focused on the development and advancement of women at Agrium.

Ms. Cosby has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, a M.A. in Organizational Systems Renewal and is a certified executive coach.

Ms. Cosby is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Organization Development Network. She has completed the ICD Program in HR and Compensation Effectiveness.

Ken Mullen, Savanna's president and chief executive officer, noted: "As Savanna continues to expand our operations in the U.S. and Australia, our Board and management recognize the need to access the expertise of individuals such as Ms. Cosby in assisting in this mission.
