Transfac Capital, Inc. has reported that, pursuant to its commitment to provide on-the-ground service to businesses in the Utica and Marcellus Shale plays, it has added Richard Moore to its Business Development Group.

Moore will leverage his knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and his years of experience in the region to assist Transfac in providing exceptional personalized service and its broad range of financial options to local small to mid-size Oilfield Services companies.

Mike Schepper, Marketing Director of Transfac Capital, stated, "Upon meeting Richard, we immediately recognized that having him on our team would not only benefit our Company, but would greatly benefit Oilfield Service business owners in the region. Richard has lived and worked in this area for a number of years and understands first-hand the complexities of the local Oil and Gas market and how these complexities may impact its many industry service providers. His extensive experience in accounts receivable management and industry knowledge will make him a valuable resource to business owners endeavoring to understand their financing options, so, in turn, they are able to make intelligent financial decisions for their companies' futures."

Continuing, Schepper added, "Although there are other specialty finance companies targeting the Oilfield Service industry in the Utica and Marcellas Shales, most lack knowledge in the products, processes and services that these companies provide. Companies providing transportation, staffing, fabrication, pipeline, frac supply and other oilfield services can benefit by teaming with a financing partner, like Transfac Capital, who fully understands their core business and the inherent challenges that they must contend with in the daily operation of their businesses. With the addition of Richard to the Transfac team, our 'boots on the ground' in the Midwestern tri-state region is notably enhanced."

Moore added: "Being geographically located in the fairway of the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York has earned me vital experience and the background necessary to fully understand the financial obstacles that companies in this area may encounter. Transfac has a large presence here and has more experience helping these types of businesses than most of the other specialty finance companies serving the region. Consequently, choosing to represent Transfac in this market was a logical career choice for me, and I look forward to contributing measurably to its continued success and to the success of our valued customers."
