W&T Offshore Wolfcamp Update; Closes Acquisition
W&T Offshore, Inc. announced today that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of exploration and production properties in the Gulf of Mexico from Newfield Exploration Company and its subsidiary, Newfield Exploration Gulf Coast LLC ("Newfield"). W&T is also providing an update of its current operations and 2012 production guidance.

Offshore, we are currently participating in three non-operated exploration wells and one operated development well.
