In its June 2014 investor presentation, Whiting Petroleum Corp. reported that the company has sold the remaining Big Tex acreage: 37,000 net acres for $76 million.
In October of last year, the company announced the sale of 32,183 net acres for $150 million. Click here to see deal.
According to Whiting, the price difference is due to the remaining acreage being undeveloped.
