Whiting Unveils High Density Pilot at Niobrara Redtail Project

Whiting Petroleum Corp. has reported a second quarter 2014 update on its Denver Julesberg Basin development.
Redtail Niobrara FieldWe hold a total of 180,115 gross (128,721 net) acres in our Redtail Niobrara field, located in the Denver Julesberg Basin in Weld County, Colorado. Net production from our Redtail Niobrara field averaged 7,235 BOE/d in the second quarter of 2014, representing a sequential increase of 59% over the 4,550 BOE/d average in the first quarter of 2014.
