Anadarko Reports Four (4) 4,000 Bbls/d Wolfcamp Wells

Anadarko Petroleum has reported multiple strong, oil-heavy well IPs at its Silvertip Unit (see map below) in Loving County, Texas, all of which have flowed over 4,000 barrels of oil per day.

These wells results are part of a series of 12 wells that Anadarko is drilling to test out 10,000' laterals. The company noted that 2/3 of the wells (~8 wells) will be drilled into the Wolfcamp and the remaining 1/3 (~4 wells) will target the Bone Spring.

The wells with the strong results detailed below were all drilled into the Wolfcamp formation.

This is the company's first multi-well, multi-pad operation where the company is testing well spacing as well as frac design (gel/slickwater combination).
