Apache announced Emily McClung has been named vice president, Community Partnerships and Employee Engagement, effective Sept. 1, 2018.
About McClung
McClung brings more than 25 years of oil and gas sector human resources experience to this role. She joined Apache as senior manager, Corporate HR & Staffing following the acquisition of Mariner Energy in November 2010 and most recently served as Apache's director, Human Resources. During the 12 years that she worked at Mariner, she served as manager, director and vice president, Human Resources. McClung previously worked for Bank One, Texas, N.A., holding various positions in the energy lending group, banking operations and human resources. She holds a bachelor's degree of business administration from Texas State University.
