Baytex, Sanchez Detail Eagle Ford Acquisitions, Downspacing Plans

Baytex acquiring Aurora, and Sanchez acquiring Catarina. Both companies recently detailed their Eagle Ford acquisitions and their differing plans for their development.
Baytex detailed a map of Aurora's acreage in Atascosa, Karnes, and Live Oak Counties. Known as Sugarkane Field, these 22,200 acres have been largely delineated.
With High EURs, the acreage is surrounded by operators such as Conoco, Marathon, and EOG.
Baytex's downspacing plan for their Aurora Acreage is moving toward 30-acre spacing, and they are moving on tests in the Austin Chalk made by Aurora.
Sanchez Energy has recently announced their Catarina acquisition in the Eagle Ford from Shell. This less developed acreage is located primarily in Dimmit and Webb counties.
