Bonanza Creek Receives Buyout Offer from Bill Barrett
Bonanza Creek has received an unsolicited inquiry from Bill Barrett Corporation regarding a potential transaction between Bonanza Creek and Bill Barrett.
In late December 2016, Bonanza Creek filed for bankruptcy. The company has $1.1 billion in outstanding debt, in the form of a credit facility, and senior notes (6.75% and 5.7%).
No other details on this unsolicited offer were released.
