Callon Boosts Budget Over 30% for 2018; Details Well Plans, Guidance

Callon has detailed its 2018 capital plan as well as an operational update.

2018 Plans

- 2018 Capex: $500 to $540 million (up +31% at the midpoint from $395 million spent in 2017)

Delaware Basin: $200-216 million (40%) Midland Basin: $300-324 million (60%)

- Production: 2018 average daily production of 29.5 to 32.0 MBoe/d (77% oil)

Represents growth of approximately 30% to 40% from 2017

- Well Plans: Spud 47 to 50 net wells and place 43 to 46 net wells on production

- Expects to add fifth rig in Q1 2018 and use two completion crews throughout the year (3 Midland / 2 Delaware)

Development Plans

In the Delaware basin, planned activity is expected to focus primarily on development of the Wolfcamp A.
