Chevron Makes Statement on Texas Pipeline Explosion

A gas pipeline has exploded in a rural area near the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, according to a report by Houston-based KHOU.
The pipeline, which is said to be owned by Chevron Corp., exploded in the early morning hours of November 14, 2013 near a drill rig in Milford, Texas.
There was no information regarding the owner of the rig or what formation it was targeting.
At approximately 2:00 PM ET on November 14, Chevron issued the following statement:
"At approximately 9.30 a.m. (CST) today, there was an incident at a Chevron pipeline near Milford, Texas. Chevron has initiated its emergency response procedures and is currently responding to the incident.
