Chevron Making Canadian Strides, Plans Development in Duvernay

[Summary: Chevron announced Monday its intent to begin development in the Duvernay, specifically targeting the East Kaybob.

Initially, the company is planning on developing ~55,000 acres. While there is no stated expectation of production that Chevron will see from the Duvernay, the company expects favorable results from this venture.

To facilitate this development, Pembina Pipeline Co, will spend C$290 million building infrastructure to ship gas and condensate.
