Cimarex reported its Q2 2017 results. Highlights from its call / release include:
- Cimarex is maintaining its estimated 2017 budget at $1.1 1.2 billion for 2017
- Production guidance increased: Daily production for 2017 is estimated to average 1,120 1,140 MMcfe (186.7 190.0 Mboe) (up from 1.09 Bcf to 1.13 Bcf per day)
- Currently operating 14 rigs (18 Permian / 6 MidCon)
Completion Evolution (Proppant)The company seems to be set on the proppant loading portion of the completion design. As a result, Cimarex is now shifting its focus to perf placement, number of stages and pump time.
