Concho Expands Permian Pads 100%; 5-6 Wells per Pad

[Summary: At the 2017 Energy Credit Conference, Concho Resources went into further details on its "manufacturing mode" in the Permian.

According to Concho President and CFO Jack Harper, "manufacturing mode" translates to drilling multi-well pads across large blocks of acreage. The company is drilling its largest pads to date this year, with 5-6 wells per pad (up 100% from 2-3). ]

Concho's lateral length has increased 1,000 feet per year since 2014. Currently, the company is averaging laterals at +/- 8,000 feet in the Midland and Southern Delaware basins.
