Continental Stays Active in the SCOOP/STACK; Density Pilots, Project Springboard

As part of Shale Experts' June update for the SCOOP/STACK plays, we took a look at Continental's latest activity in the play.

In its Q1 report, Continental talked about its new project in the SCOOP - Project Springboard as well as its STACK density pilots.

Density Pilots - STACK

The Company has completed three density pilots that tested four, five and six well configurations in the Springer reservoir. Results indicate that on average, four wells should deliver the maximum PV-10 from the Springer reservoir on a unit basis.

A Springer unit well is projected to recover 1,200 MBoe at a completed well cost of $9.5 million for a 7,500-foot lateral. This is a 28% uplift in EUR from the Company's legacy 940 MBoe type curve for a 4,500-foot standalone well. The Company's unit economic model…
