Continental's Oil Output Up 25% YOY in Q2; Bakken Stifles Production at 284 MBOEPD

Continental Resources reported preliminary second quarter production results.

Highlights:

- Q2 2018 production of 25.8 MMBOE or 284.1 BOEPD (down slightly from Q1 2018)

Q2 production would have been just above 289,000 BOEPD (an increase from Q1) except for abnormally wet weather in the Bakken and the voluntary curtailment of Midcontinent production

- Average daily oil production of 157,000 BOPD

Oil production for the first half of July averaged approximately 166,000 BOPD, representing 25% growth YOY Guidance Reaffirmed - Looks to Oilier Production
