Devon's STACK Wells Continue to Impress; Begins Multi-Zone Development

As part of Shale Experts' June update for the SCOOP/STACK plays, we took a look at Devon's latest activity in the play.

The company has detailed impressive well results in the play as well as begun multi-zone STACK development.

Touts Strong Well Results

Devon continues to see strong results from its STACK drilling program. In early June, the company reported monster results from its Chipmunk well drilled in Blaine County, Okla.

The well flowed 3,340 barrels of oil and 7,038 Mcf of Gas during the 24/hour test.  The frac job consisted of 19.4 million lbs of proppant, 37 stages and 281k bbls of fluids on a 8660 ft lateral. Proppant (lbs/ft) : 2,248  (basin average is 1,650)

In its Q1 2018 report, Devon touted more of its strong STACK wells.
