EOG Ditching UK North Sea in Favor of US Shale Assets
EOG Resources is reportedly exiting the British North Sea region, according to multiple reports.
News outlet Reuters was able to confirm the news with an EOG spokesperson.
EOG's North Sea Asset:
- East Irish Sea (Conwy asset) - 100% WI
- Production commenced in March 2016 - it is currently production ~11,000 BOPD
- North Sea Columbus gas project (25% stake) - slated to go online in 2019
