EOG Touts New Permian Land Zone; Wolfcamp, Third Bone Spring

In its Q3 2019 report and presentation, EOG Resources detailed a promising new zone in the Delaware Basin, which centers on two additional plays.

The landing zone features two new horizons, including the Third Bone Spring as well as the Middle Wolfcamp (Wolfcamp M).

The company boasts ~1,500 drilling locations in the area as well as estimates it has a resource potential of 1.6 billion BOE.

Play Characteristics:

Middle Wolfcamp (Wolfcamp M)

Prospective Acres: 193,000 net EUR: 1,175 MBOE Well Cost: $7.7 million

Third Bone Spring

Prospective Acres: 200,000 net EUR: 950 MBOE Well Cost: $7.6 million
