EXCO Resources Inc. has reported a third quarter 2014 update on its East Texas/North Louisiana operations.
In the East Texas/North Louisiana region (enlarge map) during the third quarter 2014, we operated an average of six drilling rigs primarily focused on manufacturing in our core area in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. In DeSoto Parish, we drilled 15 gross (8.9 net) operated wells and completed 5 gross (3.0 net) wells during the quarter. We had an inventory of 12 gross (6.7 net) wells that were drilled and waiting on completion in DeSoto Parish at the end of the quarter, most of which will be turned-to-sales in the fourth quarter 2014.
