Eagle Ford EOR Activity Surges

At its recent presentation at Enercom and in its Q2 2017 report, Core Lab detailed its outlook on EOR technology that is being used to unlock additional hydrocarbons from previously drilled wells. This tech has been utilized in the Eagle Ford by companies like EOG Resources, who has seen substantial success with it.

Core Lab CEO David M. Demshur looks to enhance the oil recovery of previously drilled wells by working with a team of companies that would run test and share results collaboratively: "Core initiated a consortium in which members companies will collectively sharing results of laboratory test and support of their Eagle Ford EOR efforts."
