Eagle Ford Operator Increases 2018 D&C Plans; Now Plan to Complete/Frac 270 Wells

EOG is increasing its 2018 development plan again. The company initially planned to complete 260 wells in 2018 but has now increase that to 270 wells. This increase is now gives EOG year-over-year plan a 24% increase. In 2017 the company completed 217.

Wells Planned : 217 (2017) Wells Planned : 260 (2018 - initial guidance) Wells Planned : 270 (2018 - new guidance)The company has 2,300 premium undrilled locations. Lower well costs and further efficiencies from shifting to longer laterals enabled EOG to convert 145 additional locations to premium.
