Eclipse Looks To 2016; On the Hunt for Cash; $650 Million Offering
Eclipse Resources Corporation reported that, subject to market conditions, it intends to offer $650 million in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2023 in a private placement to eligible purchasers under Rule 144A and Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
The Company intends to use a portion of the net proceeds of the offering to finance the redemption of its outstanding 12.0% senior unsecured PIK notes due 2018. The Company intends to use the remaining net proceeds to fund the Company's capital expenditure plan and for general corporate purposes.
As you might remember, the company raised $434 million in a private placement where it sold 62.5 million shares at $7.04 per share. The company pointed out then that the capital will be used for capital expenditure. More here
