Energy XXI has regretfully announced the passing of Mr. Paul Davison.
Mr. Davison suddenly passed away at the age of 61. Mr. Davison served as one of our independent non-executive directors since May 2007. He was as a member of our Audit and Remuneration Committees.
John Schiller, Energy XXI's Chairman of the Board said: "We offer our deepest condolences to his wife Anne, and the entire family.
Paul brought a wealth of experience in both operational and general management to the company. He was not only a member of our Board, but a friend and colleague. He will be truly missed by all of us at Energy XXI."
