Enerplus Lowering Capex 30% for 2016; Williston, Marcellus

Enerplus Corporation has announced the results from operations for the third quarter of 2015.

Highlights: Production was up 3% quarter over quarter averaging 110,794 BOE per day primarily driven by growth in North Dakota oil production, which increased over 20% from the second quarter of 2015 as a result of continued strong well performance and higher activity levels in the second and third quarters. Natural gas production was approximately 365 MMcf per day, slightly lower than the second quarter. Continued outperformance in the Marcellus was offset by a decrease in Canadian deep gas production as a result of scheduled turnarounds at major facilities.
