Ex-RSP Permian Exec Scores Capital; Starts New Permian E&P Company

Dallas based Driftwood Energy Partners announced today that the company has scored capital from PE-firm Carnelian Energy Capital to form a Southern Midland Basin focused E&P company.
The amount of the equity committment was not disclosed.
The company will be led by Mickey Friedrich and Kenny Worrell who will serve as Co-Chief Executive Officers.
Kenny was a member of RSP’s Executive Committee and oversaw RSP’s budgeting, credit facility, cash management, hedging program, and investor relations. He has held previous roles at Natural Gas Partners and at Barclays Capital in the Global Natural Resources Group.
