Fresh Off Permian Deal, Halcon Ups 2017 Budget +40% to $280MM

After announcing the sale of its Eagle Ford asset and its entry into the Delaware Basin, Halcon Resources has updated its 2017 guidance.

Key Points: Increased 2017 capex of $280 million (up +40% from $200 million originally planned) Revised production guidance of 37,000 to 39,000 boe/d (80% oil, 10% gas and 10% NGL) - a decrease from its original estimate of 39,000 to 41,000 boe/d
