Gastar's Marcellus Production Shut-In Due to Pipeline Rupture

Gastar Exploration Inc. has reported that its production in Marshall County, West Virginia has been shut-in since early Saturday morning due to the rupture of a pipeline operated by Williams Partners.
Gastar hopes to restart production, which currently represents approximately two-thirds of its average daily production, as early as Tuesday night.
On Saturday morning Williams experienced a rupture and fire in a 12-inch gas pipeline several miles north of Gastar's operated properties in Marshall County. Williams is inspecting the scope of damage to their system and is working with Gastar personnel to determine how to expedite resumption of operations.
