Halcon Axes Three Rig Plan for 2019; Cuts Fleet Down to Two
In a recent release, Halcon Resources CEO Floyd C. Wilson revealed that the company is planning to drop down to two rigs for 2019.
The company had initially planned to run three rigs into 2019.
Wilson commented: "Given the recent decline in commodity prices we are dropping a rig early in the first quarter of 2019 and plan on running two rigs for the remainder of 2019. We will update the market formally with our 2019 plans and guidance in the first quarter of 2019."
No other details were disclosed in the release.
