Halliburton Taps New President - Western Hemisphere

Halliburton has reported that Mark Richard, previously senior vice president of the Northern Region, has been promoted to succeed Jim Brown as president of the Western Hemisphere effective Feb. 1, 2019.

About Richard

Mr. Richard began his career with Halliburton in 1984 in the Gulf of Mexico. Since then, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility at the Company, including vice president of the Gulf of Mexico Region, senior vice president of the Asia Pacific Region, and senior vice president of the Europe/Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA) and Eurasia Regions, and senior vice president of Global Business Development & Marketing. Mr. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU), and is a member of the LSU Engineering Advisory Board.
