More investors are asking if Newfield Exploration's Eagle Ford position will eventually be sold off as the the company continues its focus on the SCOOP, STACK, Uinta and the Bakken plays.
Currently, the company is actively selling it's China business.

The company is currently operating two rigs in the basin, and has earmarked only $170 million, less than 10% of its $1.9 billion capital budget, for the play. The answer to this lingering question however was given during the company's 2Q14 earnings call.
