Latest Developments in the Dakota Access Pipeline Saga

Last week, a judge ordered the 570Mbbl/d pipeline to be shut-down by August 5, 2020 (there have been multiple statements since the order by Dakota Access owner Energy Transfer LP). To put this in context, the basin produced 1.5MMbbls/d in early March before operators starting curtailing production.
Production at the end of June was 1.0 million barrels (1MMbbls/d).
If the court order stays in place, operators will have have to either:
Keep some volumes curtailed Try to find additional capacity on other pipelines (Enbridge 350Mbbls/d or TrueCo 240 Mbbls/d) - considering there are three major pipelines that move Bakken oil out of the basin.
