Matador Adds New Rig to Drill 10 Eagle Ford Wells; Hits Best Delaware Basin IP24 to Date

Matador Resources reported its Q3 2018 results.

2018 Capex Increase - Seventh Rig Deployed to Drill Eagle Ford

Matador has increased its 2018 capex by $25-30 million to fund the deployment of a rig at its Eagle Ford acreage.

The new rig is slated to drill up to 10 new wells (see plans below).

Matador's second Wolfcamp A-Lower Test in Antelope Ridge Asset Area and was the company's best IP24 in the Delaware Basin to date. IP24 flowed 3,670 BOE/d (77% oil), or 760 BOE per day per thousand feet of completed lateral (~4,800' total lateral length)
