Matador Downspaces the Eagle Ford; Lauds Positive Results

Matador Resources Co. has reported an update on its Eagle Ford operations.

At October 14, 2014, Matador is operating two drilling rigs in the Eagle Ford shale, and both are currently drilling in La Salle County. Both rigs are “walking” rigs, and Matador plans to conduct batch drilling on its Eagle Ford properties using these two rigs for the remainder of 2014. Matador continues to achieve improvements in both drilling times and costs with these “walking” rigs. One recent well on Matador’s western acreage in La Salle County, was drilled from spud to a total depth of 12,300 feet, including an approximate 5,100-foot lateral, in 7.4 days, which was a new Company record.
