Operator Unveils 2016 - 2018 Permian & Eagle Ford Drilling Plans

After finalizing its acquisition of Rosetta Resources Inc., Noble Energy Inc. has outlined its plans for its newly-acquired Eagle Ford and Permian Basin assets.

Through the acquisition, Noble acquired approximately 50,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford Shale and 54,000 net acres in the Permian (45,000 in the Delaware Basin and 9,000 in the Midland Basin).

In the near future, Noble plans to optimize the completion design in the Delaware Basin as well as focus on pad drilling.

Noble has detailed its plans for the Delaware Basin through 2018, which tops out at 70 wells drilled and $380 million invested in the play.
