Pacific Exploration Awarded Block 192 Contract in Peru

Pacific Exploration & Production Corp. has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Pacific Stratus Energy Del Peru S.A. has been awarded a two-year contract to operate Block 192 by Perupetro S.A. (the State company that, on behalf of the Peruvian State is responsible for promoting, negotiating, underwriting and monitoring contracts for exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons).

Block 192 is located onshore Peru and is the largest producing oil block in Peru. The Agreement was signed by the Government of Peru by way of Presidential decree on August 29, 2015 and the Company commenced operations on August 30, 2015.
