Phillips 66 Touts Midstream Ops; Plans TX Expansion

Phillips 66 reported first-quarter earnings of $1.4 billion compared with earnings of $636 million in the first quarter of 2012. Adjusted earnings were $1.4 billion, an increase of $617 million from the first quarter of 2012.

"We achieved strong financial results in the first quarter by capturing favorable chemicals and refining margins," said Greg Garland, chairman and chief executive officer.
