Denver-based Felix Energy (backed by EnCap Investments) built up a position in the Mid-Continent region and sold it off back in 2015 to Devon Energy for $1.9 billion. The sale represented Felix pivoting its focus to the Delaware Basin, where it marked its entry in 2Q 2016.
