Range Drills Longest Laterals to Date in Q1; 21% Longer Than 4Q17

Range Resources reported its Q1 2018 results.

Highlights: Production averaged a record 2.188 Bcfe per day, (up +13% YOY and +9% from Q4 2017) Drilled the two longest laterals to date by Range at 18,129 feet and 17,875 feet Appalachia

The division brought on line nine wells in the first quarter, two in the super-rich area and seven in the wet area. In 2018, the division plans to bring on a total of 100 wells and is expecting to average five rigs for the year.
