Rice Uses New Drilling Technique; Cuts D&C Capex -7%

Rice Energy has released its Q2 17 operational and financial updates. 

Highlights Include:

Net production from Q2 averaging 1,354 mmcfe/d, a 6% increase from Q1 Spent $243 million in capex during Q2, including $190 milliom for D&C Decreasing D&C capital budget from $1,035 million to $965 million, a decrease of about 7% Turned to sales 18 net Marcellus wells with an average lateral length of 9,200 feet and 7 net operated Utica wells with an average lateral length of 10,500 feet Acquired by EQT
