Rockies Operator Bolsters Budget +140% for 2018; IDs Capex, Drilling Plans

Bonanza Creek reported a preliminary Q4 update as well as its 2018 budget outlook.

2018 Plans:

- 2018 Capex: $280-320 million (up +140% at the midpoint from the $125 million spent in 2017)

D&C: $240-270 million (includes operated and nonop activitiy) Other: $40-50 million

- Two rigs running (second rig to be added at mid-year)

The first rig is planned to drill large scale pads of up to nine wells throughout the legacy acreage position. The addition of the second rig will provide additional data to inform completion techniques and development assumptions throughout the acreage position going forward.

- Production Growth: 17,700 18,700 BOEPD year-end target
