Rosetta Resources Talks 2015 Capex, Completions Design

Rosetta Resources recently announced plans for 2015 to spend between $700 and $800 MM, a decrease from the $950 MM announced in November of 2014.  

Rosetta has now detailed the capital spend allocation in 2015 across its acreage:

 


Rosetta also detailed changes to its completions design in both the Permian and Eagle Ford:

After reporting results from its new completions design in the Permian, Rosetta has given further information about the new design. A substantial increase in proppant per lateral foot, tighter spacing and increased number of stages in the same lateral space.

 

As with the Permian, Rosetta is now focused on creating the maximum amount of stimulated rock volume - in this case facilitated by a switch to regular sand from ceramic, with the amount of proppant per lateral foot…
