SandRidge Appoints Vice President of Production

SandRidge Energy, Inc. reported the appointment of John Suter, 54, to the role of Senior Vice President of Production, effective April 27, 2015.

Mr. Suter comes to SandRidge with an extensive history in the exploration and production sector having most recently worked at American Energy Partners, LP where he served as Vice President of the Woodford business unit since 2013.

Steve Turk, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, commented: "It is my good fortune to welcome John Suter to our management team. Having previously worked together, I have seen firsthand the manner in which John executes on the most complex projects and know that his leadership of our production efforts will carry the same success that he has experienced throughout his career."

Previously in his career, Mr. Suter was Vice President of Operations for Chesapeake's Western Division, which included the Eagle Ford, Permian and Rockies. While at Chesapeake, Mr. Suter also served as the District Manager for the Barnett Shale and Southern Oklahoma assets. Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Suter served in lead roles for Continental Resources, Inc., Cabot Oil & Gas Corporationand Petro-Lewis Corp. Mr. Suter earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1982.
